Spirits are high with epicness happening yesterday in the desert...after a little dialing of the hill (no more cranking five times through a downhill course to hit a shitty take off) first two sets in eights got sent. Christian and I were a little sketched out but that soon went away with a couple run ups and first runs putting back tires right were they should be. Super pumped to see the whole line run as smooth. Everything else is getting smooth too and some new faces out hopefully some more will come with the new wave of students coming in.
Not sure why i even have to write this but trail ettiquite. If you ride and no one is there please water broom and retarp when your finished. clean up your trash and dont walk on lips.!!!!!!

we pretty much built everything from nothing:
- littles
- boosters
- cutters
- eight
- 0-4
- forest
- back in the cut
Man, weird dirt there. When the trails were good, they were really really fuckin good, like concrete, but when they were starved of rain, they were pretty gross looking. Sure you know what I mean.
I havent been back there since 2005, but I heard they were basically run-down and abandoned.
Pumped to see guys are getting them going again. Funnest set of trails I've ever been a part of.

I live in philly, but plan on making it up for the jam in Oct if you're still gonna have it. I'll try and get together some of the original crew, which was a few posh, catty dudes, push dudes etc...

yo thanks for the comment stuff like that really gets me going. spot was abandoned and hagard for awhile like you said and we have been bustin our ass to get them running again its an awsome set up and want to keep them going strong
ReplyDeletedirt is a little weird lol some good clay in some spots water is a problem but tarps and truck loads of water jugs have been helpin a lot
really hope you guys can makE it up for the jam should be a good time couple new lines im sure you guys would love and eights is crazy big. sent line for the first time since we built them up yesterday and first ran it needs a little tweeking but is gona be good hope to have almost everything done for the jam has been a little rough mostly me and another guy digging. slowly but surely i guess word is getting out hopefully get some more help
